Berkman is hiring!

We're looking to hire a handful of sharp, visionary people to join our ever-growing community.

Our tenth anniversary year, Berkman@10, is behind us -- apart from a few details, and a coda in the form of John Palfrey and Urs Gasser's Born Digital -- and we're stepping into our new university-wide position. To help us grow smartly into "Berkman 3.0," we're searching for a new Executive Director and a group of crack staff to augment our wonderful team.

requirements for interoperability of scientific data. Legal simplicity
and predictability can be achieved by waiving copyright and other
contractual restrictions, allowing data integrators to reuse, modify
and redistribute large datasets. But legal accessibility issues are not
the only hurdle to data integration. Technical Open Access allows
scientists to download data easily and use them in any way, including

tickled pink? Much of my waking life is guided by the faint glow of the
internet, and when not actively “participating” in web culture, I am
often studying its dynamics like an anthropologist (a la danah boyd)
